Thank you! I think that Sam and Dean probably had to be very capable as they were growing up, though there are certain things about being a kid that are just there (maybe more so for Sam because Dean takes care of him). I've always imagined Eliot as remembering kids that he has encountered in his various "jobs", mostly because the ones we see on the show Eliot is very thoughtful with them, despite his more gruff exterior to everyone else.
